Karina Garcia Casanova

Karina Garcia Casanova is a filmmaker and photographer based in Montreal. Her work draws from personal experience to explore questions of identity, memory, trauma, and motherhood. 

Her work has been shown at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Medellin Museum of Contemporary Art, Edinburgh Film Festival, Guadalajara Film Festival, Havana Film Festival, RIDM, etc. She is currently completing her MFA in Studio Arts (Film production) at Concordia University.
