Sarika Joglekar is a Master’s student in Film and Moving Image Studies at Concordia University in Montréal. She is from Atlanta, Georgia, where she worked as a programmer at Turner Classic Movies (TCM) and FilmStruck. Her areas of interest include new media, political theory, and labor in the film and media industries.
She is currently a member of the programming committee for Cinema in the Midst of Struggle, a screening series engaging with historical and contemporary works on anti-colonial, anti-racist, anti-imperialist, anti-capitalist struggles.
